Buckwheat Hulling Machine

Buckwheat hulling machine is a key component in the processing of buckwheat to create a variety of food products. It helps to eliminate the shells from buckwheat seeds, which is important for ensuring that the seed is safe to consume and retains its nutrients. The buckwheat hulling machine also makes it easier to extract oil from buckwheat, which is used in many different applications.

Choosing the right machine for your application is a crucial step in getting the best results from your buckwheat hulling operation. The machine should be able to handle large volumes of buckwheat with a high level of accuracy. It should be easy to operate and maintain and should have a low level of energy consumption. In addition, it should be able to separate buckwheat from its husks without compromising the quality of the kernel.

The buckwheat hulling machines use an adjustable roller gap and high speed rotation to remove the hard shell of buckwheat while keeping the complete buckwheat kernels. The machine consists of feed hopper, hulling room, drive gear and rack. The buckwheat is fed into the feed hopper and moved among the upper fixed plate and under fixed plate by the drive gear and rack. The buckwheat shells are cracked and broken by the emery rollers, which can be adjusted according to different sizes of triangular buckwheat. The emery rollers can also be replaced easily.

Buckwheat is a versatile grain with many uses, including making pillows (buckwheat hull filling), potpourri and packaging material. It can also be used in a variety of ways as landscaping mulch, which offers several benefits to the environment. Buckwheat hulls can be used to make comfortable seating cushions that are perfect for restaurants, storefronts and waiting areas.

The Buckwheat hulling machine utilizes a dry method, which eliminates the need for pre-treating the buckwheat with water or heat. This ensures that the buckwheat is dehulled quickly and efficiently. Its user-friendly operation and high dehulling and whole kernel recovery rates make it a great choice for commercial operations. The buckwheat hulling equipment also features an automatic cleaning system that minimizes the amount of dust generated during the hulling process and keeps the work area clean and organized.

In addition to the buckwheat hulling machine, the post-harvest line includes a JCM VibroMAX Cleaner and aspiration pre-cleaner. The cleaned buckwheat then moves on to the JGD Destoner for destoning. After destoning, the buckwheat is calibrated on a JCK calibrator. Buckwheat and millet are then dehulled on a JHD disc dehuller. The buckwheat or millet is peeled in the gap between the rotating and standing discs. The size of the gap can be changed by approaching or moving away from the rotating and standing disks. The peeled buckwheat or millet then goes to a separator to separate seeds from hulls. The separated buckwheat or millet can be blown onto storage bins or conveyed to another unit for further processing. The hulled seeds can then be bagged or stored for distribution.
